Required Step for configure HBS Website

Here we can learn how we can correctly configure hotel using Joomla! Hotel Booking System . (Please note for configure one hotel correctly Site administrator have to work only one time and each hotel admin have to configure his/her hotel by following step everytime)

Before do following step please make sure as a site administrator you have install correctly HBS component you already create Hotel Admin menu.

Site Administrator Responsibility (You have to configure following step only one time for all hotel admin):

Configure your HBS Hotel website:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Global Configuration
[Please configure how hbs will be display in front end of your website | Photo Gallery | Reservation % etc..]

Create Room Type:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Room Types
[Create Hotel Room type such as : Singel, Double, Suite etc]

Create Hotel Facility Category:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Hotel Facility Category
[Create your hotel facility category name; such as: Hotel Facility] (Later you can add hotel facility under this category)

Add Hotel Facility in Hotel Facility Category:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Hotel Facility
[Add hotel facility under Hotel Facility Category, Such as: Near Airport, Near Beach, SPA, Conference Room, Money Exchange etc]

Create Room Facility Category:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Room Facility Category
[Create your room facility category name; such as: Room Facility] (Later you can add room facility under this category)
Please use same concept of how to create facility category.

Add Room Facility in Room Facility Category:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Room Facility
[Add room facility under Room Facility Category, Such as: WiFi, Free Water, Newspaer, Wake Up Services, Coffee & Tea etc]
Please use same concept of how to add facility icon.

Edit Occupant type if required
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Occupant Type
[If you need to edit range of age for occupant type such as Adult and Childred age range or you can edit caption here]

Add State in Country if required
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Country States
[Add state under country. If you don't find your hotel state or city name in our database; you can add unlimited city or state name under any country]

Configure Payment Method:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > Booking Payment
[Configure your payment method. Just use user name and password. its very simple and easy]

Create Hotel Admin User Account:
Click Components > HBS Administrator > HBS User
[Create Hotel admin user for add hotel. Using this user account you can login in hotel admin area and manage your hotel.]

Hotel Administrator Responsibility (Each hotel Admin need to follow following step):

If you don't have Hotel Admin access please contact with Site Administrator. Site admin can create unlimited hotel admin account from Site Administrator area. Click here to learn how site admin can create HBS Hotel Admin account. When you have access as a hotel admin you can login using Joomla Login Module

Note for Site Administrator: If you create hotel admin menu correctly (click here how to create hotel admin menu.) Hotel admin can access only hotel admin feature. They can't access Joomla Registered User feature.

Please note Login module for Joomla Registerd usser & HBS Hotel Admin User is same. But after login they can access totally 2 different section.

So you can have you seperate Joomla Registerd User area & HBS hotel admin area.

After login as a hotel admin please make sure you have following access from you hotel admin control panel.

1. Add Room Type > Link with Room Types Component
2. Room Availability & Closeout > Link with Availability & Closeout Component
3. Rate & Occupant Type > Link with Rates & Occupant Types Component
4. Edit Hotel Description > Link with Edit Hotel Info Component
5. Create Hotel User: > Link with HBS Administrator Component
There is 2 other Featue available in Hotel Admin area, Its depand on each website Site administrator, If they make available this feature for hotel admin.
6. Contact with site admin > Link with Post Admin Component
7 Hotel Reports > Link with HBS Reports Component

You must configure Room type / Room Availability & Closeout / Rate & Occupant Type / Edit Hotel Description correctly before you want to make this hotel available in website.

1. Click Add Room Type for add room for your hotel
[Add your hotel room here under types of hotel room: Such as: singel, double etc]

2. Room Availability & Closeout for make available your room in search result
[ Here you can define when your room is available and when its not. ]

3. Click Rate & Occupant type for Define rate for each single different types room and occupant
[Create your rate name here and define your rate here]

4. Click Edit Hotel Description and add all required field
[Add all necessary information here - General info, Contact Info, Billing info, Quick description, Room, Area, Travle, Hotel, Food, Map, Photo Gallery, Hotel and Room Facility etc..]

Important: You must completly fill General Information & Upload at least one (Hotel Logo or Picture) image under quick description.

As a hote admin of Joomla HBS if you do not completely fill out 4 above required information
1. Add Room Type
2. Room Availability & Closeout
3. Rate & Occupant type
4. Edit Hotel Description
Your hotel will be invisible from search result.

5. Create Hotel User
if you want to give access other user to manage this hotel information and define access by checking privilege.
